Michelle Schmitt
Michelle joined the team in 2008 as the Disability Claims Advocate, assisting individuals in obtaining Social Security Disability benefits. Prior to joining Mr. Garner’s team, an extensive portion of her working career has been as a Social Worker and Life Coach, serving individuals with various disabilities. Michelle has lived in the Tri-State most of her life and after she and her husband raised their 5 children they now enjoy traveling, camping and hiking together. Michelle is also an enthusiastic cook and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Ashley Kinnett
Ashley is an experienced paralegal, who works closely with courts, attorneys, and legal staff to help clients successfully navigate the legal system. Born and raised in Dearborn County, she is passionate about supporting her community and is known for being dependable, personable, and highly organized. Ashley is a graduate of Lawrenceburg High School’s Class of 2012, she also earned her degree from Ball State University in 2016, graduating Magna Cum Laude in Family & Consumer Sciences: Hospitality & Food Management with minors in Foundations of Management and Travel & Tourism. During college, she was involved in Creative Minds, HFMA, and Phi Upsilon Omicron, and was honored as Outstanding Senior of the Year.
Before joining Pillar, Ashley gained valuable experience in hospitality management and spent many years working in the music and concert industry, combining her professional skills with her passion for music. She and her husband, Derek, live on their family farm with their two daughters, where she enjoys crafting, traveling, attending concerts, and spending time with loved ones. At Pillar, Ashley lives by the belief that “we treat everyone like family, we’ve got your back.”
Natalie Mollaun
Natalie Mollaun is an experienced paralegal who joined our firm in 2023. She enjoys helping our clients to receive the best experience possible and assisting them in achieving their legal goals. Prior to joining our team, Natalie Mollaun worked as a paralegal in Cincinnati, Ohio. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Zach, their son, and their dogs, Hoosier and Indy. They enjoy sporting events, spending time with their families, and traveling.
